What we collect

• Server logs: our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request. These are used for security and to keep the site running, and are normally deleted within 30 days.
• Emails you send us: if you write to us, we receive your email address, name and whatever you include. We use this only to reply and keep it for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
• Contact composer: the coaching-note tool on our contact page runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is transmitted to us unless you choose to email it.
• Practice log: the attempt counter on the home page stores nothing; it resets when you leave the page.

Legal bases

We rely on legitimate interests for server logs (operating a secure website) and on legitimate interests or your request for replying to correspondence, under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who host the site or our email, under contracts that require them to protect it, or where the law requires it.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and request portability. Email us to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
